The request was simple. draw his character and add a fire and earth elemental background. so i had some creative freedom.

if your wondering, yes the legendary sword he removed caused the eruption. will he have time to flee? will he stand his ground and use the sword to shatter the flaming boulder? or will he be crushed and burned? well guess you'll have to tune in next week. but dont do that because there probably wont be anything next week.

Wow, you really made the fire and debris from the volcano look blazing hot, and the lighting reflects that, too both on the rocky background and the dragon. My favorite part has to be the detail put into the dragon's hide. I love the texture, and how well you can his the muscles, and the bones in his feet. I like how the sword has a glow to it, too.

thanks. i had the most fun with the feet and orange glows. even though i sketched it out first i feel good about it because i painted everything digital.
